I have a C&R Mg34 and have since 1979.

I have managed to collect most of the stuff that goes with it.Lafette, original Elektron AA tripod. EM34* rangefinder, belts cans tools, name something.

It's sexy as hell but doesn't get taken out very often. It's pissy and usually breaks something. It is fun to shoot, though..especially off the Lafette.

One of these days I need to set the whole thing up and zero the MGZ to the gun properly.

Never owned a '42. Have fired them plenty, off the bipod they will loosen all your fillings.
