I came across a handful of Swiss francs the other day, and was thinking I would use them to pick up a couple items from ProTell, the Swiss gun rights group: http://www.protell.ch/cms/images/sto...n/5.6.001u.pdf . I emailed them, but got no response, and was wondering if they were still active. Anybody have any info? Thanks!

We always have had gun registration on county level with written files. Part of it were invoices or pictures of your vault. Now they have a centralized server based registration which makes it easier for the authorities to trace a gun when f.i. they confiscated one from a criminal. Its not a big deal even for our gunrights groups. Owning guns is not a right, its a privilege over here, a total different situation than in your country and buying one is quite easy IF you have a good reason. Every car is registered from leaving the factory to the junkyard and you can be sure that, if I buy a used car, I will call the former owners to check the milage. A central registration ain't that bad for me.
