Shes getting a makeover as soon as I get her. Should be enough american parts on her to slap on some russian wood. I hear these rifles perform extraordinarily for kalashnikovs.

NICE man! all this talk you have been doing about AK74's has had me looking at them as well - just trying to find some extra money for one, and I'll probably add one of them to the family also..
Where'd you get it from, and how much was it, if you don't mind?

Atlantic Firearms. They have the best deal going right now. Its a pricy rifle, MSRP is 1150.00. The fixed variants are about 2-300 less and just as good :D
I sold my other AK to be able to afford it. But I believe this is the best Kalashnikov you can buy.

The 74s are freaking awesome! The muzzle brake makes for extremely fast follow up shots. They are the shiznit for sure! I've built 2 already and almost want to do another for the kids |

I recently picked up a Valmet 76 tube folder which is nice enough, but after reading the Soviet AK74 article in the new issue of Small Arms Review, I gotta get a 74, they just seem to be the cats ass!!!

yes, I was surprised how accurate it was. The surplus shoots as accurate as hornaday steel match. I have been getting 1 1/2 MOA

Enjoy that new ak, it should last you a long time. If i could convince my Grandpa to dig up his ak i wouldnt be supprised if that thing still shoots. By the way my Grandpa is tough on his guns, but if an ak cant be destroyed by his form of CARE yours should be great. Hope you like that new ak.
Good Shooting.
