I'm 49 years old and just got my first ever delay just a couple months ago, then one more 6 weeks ago and this last one went through with no issues,

I'm contributing it to all of the upstanding United States of America citizens doing their God given right and purchasing firearms, thus keeping the system busy!

if there are too many "Delays" they have a form for that, you can fill it out and get your finger prints registered with the NICS system keeping your info in the system and then no more delays,

im just letting you know that this thread is inspirational to me. a 5.45 is going to be my next rifle for sure.

i love folder AKs with wood and bakalite furniture. where did you get that wood handguard? is it 74 furniture? it looks bran new.

that thing would look sweet with a red dot of some kind.

also, i noticed you liked to bump fire your old 74. let us know if you are able to do that with the Arsenal. my SGL20 has a trigger that gives one fits when trying to bump fire.

Thanks charlene. Yes, the 5.45 is my one of my favorite intermediate calibers.

The furniture was old and beat up. i refinished it with a special mixture that emulates russian red. the wood has good grain too, you should see it in the sun. ill be posting some pics soon. the ones here dont it it justice. I believe the parts count allows for it and ill be replacing the gas piston if it doesent.

I have a siderail mount for it that i will be using to really see what this gun can do. Ill be using a leupold MKIV (i know i know overkill but its for testing purposes only). Ill be testing with 3 or 4 times of ammunition at 100M. Ill also be doing some shooting from 200-600, although i wont have paper for those results.

No. This is a serious small arm. There will be no bumpfiring or any of that nonsense with this gun. I essentially paid 1200.00 for a military grade kalashnikov and im not going to be acting like a douche with it. :D

I got the fixed stock Arsenal AK in 5.45. It is a really nice weapon and ammo is cheap for now. Congrats on yours.
