Luv the kat btw, but I wonder what you're doing with your pants off and your rifle out. Has this got sumthin tah do with the bayonet? Do you have a "thing" goin' on here? Please let the cat get out of the room first; they can be so sensitive!
| nothing says, 'having fun with your cat more', than a bayoneted AK, a ski mask, a cattle prod, and a jar of mayonnaise.
the pink "socks" are actually a pink shirt. im not THAT kinky.

| it's a linen polo, man!
and to the OP:
let us know how that rifle shoots. and once again, i actually dig the black grip with the wood set. it looks like that AK has a nice park job on it too. i am not much of a fan of the paint finish on mine. i have to clean my AK with CLP.....anything else strips the paint-finish off.

I have one, but haven't yet shot it. I picked it up while on mid-tour leave back in 06 for $299!

| What fun!
The wood finish looks just like Tru-Oil or the like, what with it's urethane component.
I've also been applying DuraCoat™ satin clear to some wood stocks of late. It's very durable and keeps the glare to a minimum.
Just curious though: what would a typical 100 yd group of 5 shots be with this piece? 2"? 3"? 4"?
(Don't get me wrong: I'm just curious about it's inherent accuracy with military ammo.) I'd far rather have this baby than, say, a super-accurate gopher-hunting scoped AR platform that quickly got hot and sooty in the chamber area, and then jammed up on round No. 48, just when the Orks are about to totally over-run you, and where those defensive distances are << 5 yds!
This is one hell of a battle rifle, beaten only by the venerable Lee-Enfields of old, back when it was "graciously gallanté" to be proudly armed with a bolt action rifle! "Stiff upper lip, ewlde cheps! Stare down the damned Hun and then bayonet him with a glorious yell of British triumph and pagentry!"
Yeah! Long Live The British Empire, ehy-wot!

Thanks. I simply dyed the wood furniture than applied about 3 coatings of tung oil. Let's see if it lasts...
