Thanks guys.
Now to choose the optic... know anything about ACOGs? I don't.
I'm thinking of the TA45-2, or maybe the aimpoint T1 or H1.
Or an eotech...
or....

BTW I and my boys put a few rounds through it today and it is smooooooooooooooth. Recoil is negligible and comes straight back. Trigger is very nice. You can feel the action kinda going "kachoong". But in a sophisticated way. LOL

or.... | I have a T1 in a GG&G quick mount, the mount comes with integrated covers I love it if a red dot is what you want it would look really good on there. Best deal I found was Midway had the T1 for $499 and I got the mount from optics planet for I think $165. GG&G also has a great deal on both together on their web site if the Midway sale is over.

A good wife is a blessing and you have been blessed. My bride surprised me one Christmas with a first year of production (1912) Colt 1911.
