Woodmans Pal with sawtooth blade
New member from Vermont doing my 1st post. I know the "Woodmans Pal" thread has been up before, but I have a new (I think) twist. I recently picked up a Pal that has a sawtooth edge on the blade, opposite side of the usual sharpened edge. It has a leather washer handle with a "notch" for your forefinger and is contained in a metal scabbard/sheath. The only readable markings are: Woodmans Pal Trade Mark Victor Tool Co. Reading Pa. Pat. Appl'd. For. I have owned Pals for decades (I am 82 now) but I have never run across one with a sawtooth edge. How common are they? Anyone have any knowledge of the value? I wish I could post photos but I don't know how. I hope to see some responses to my post.
