How much did one of those set you back? I have made a few of them back in the day and even tried my hand at some cavalry sabers as well but they didn't turn out so good.

Very nice, nice indeed.

Now... Go get trained to actually use it.
That alone will give you several years to a decade to become truly proficient.

Now you need to make a goofy video like cold steel produces. That fat turd bump trying to look all serious while chopping stuff but only looks like a clown...

I have about 16 swords in my blade collection. Most are Windlass Steelcraft, but one was a present from a Japanese friend of mine after I fixed one of his tuna boats over the phone.

Blades bring me comfort. Weird, but true.

I agree that some of those Cold Steel videos are "over the top," but finally broke down and bought one of his sword canes since I have a bad knee situation and will say it is a quality piece. Excellent cane and that blade is scary even to look at but should be aware that some areas/states outlaw a sword cane. Old man with bad knees is easy target and where can't carry the Glock, adds some comfort to my feeling able to defend myself.

I've been tempted to buy a Marine Corps' NCO sword to hang above my fireplace but I wouldn't know how to use it and don't know if it would stand up to being used as a sword rather than a decoration. So I bought my M1A instead.

Maybe he sharpens blades with his beard?

the real nco swords aren't for fighting. yes it would run someone through easy enough but its not sharp and would probably break. if you used a cold steel nco sword as one you would use while in uniform you would probably hurt yourself. stitches or loss of an ear...
