A Benchmade auto open. Don't even know the model number. I have carried it for at least 10 years, probably closer to 15. Half serrated.

Have sent it back once due to the spring breaking. I have a hard time keeping an good edge on it, but I really like this knife. The finish sure has seen better days!

Only leave home without if I forget it.

Benchmade Mini Griptilian.
Found it sitting in a sheath on top of a electrical transformer and it had been there quite a while.
Took me about 3 days of cleaning and oiling but it bounced back and has served well.

I kept getting e-mails from some place I purchased a hunting knife from, and saw a Boker S30V Kalashnikov 74 Auto Knife at some introductory price. Purchased it, and never looked back.

Was given a Microtech Navy Seal Scarab about 5-6 years ago from a friend, but found out how much it cost... and, couldn't bring myself to carry it. Looks good in the box, though.

Awards Showcase

Spyderco Pacific Salt, fully serrated in H1steel! Have absolutely loved this knife for the past five years. Hard use, tough as nails. It scratches easy and doesn't look pretty anymore but has been a true workhorse.

I have carried a Buck 112 for longer than I can remember and have never considered anything else. If it EVER wears out I may consider another option.

Thanks from Thedutchman

Depends on where I am going and what I am wearing. Usually carry two, one being one of two Case pocket knives, the second, one designed for heavier work.

For the past several years, pre-production Emerson Combat Karambit #074 (hand ground by EE, himself), with a custom Ti spacer and Scalloped G10 scales:

Before that, Microtech Scarab full-serrated tanto to point:

Before that, Microtech Terzuola DA with a Reece Weiland polished blade:

I carry a Benchmade Triage. Ugly knife but I have a long drive to work and for a pocket knife it makes sense to me. The drive I take is about 30 miles along a river with four bridges(water crossings) to get to town for work and groceries.
