Try a ProTech TR-3 model. I can hardly put mine down, even after owning it for two years. Fits the hand perfectly.

CRKT M16-10KZ.....Great utility EDC at a price that makes you not mind trashing it from time to time.

Had a Kershaw I loved... think it was the Whirlwind. Lost it in woods.

Now carry a CRKT' Premonition. Good but not great. Miss that Kershaw.

I've acquired Benchmade Osborne 943 since my orginal post.
Axis Lock is great!!
Now I'm rotating between Benchmade 943 and Spyderco Delica 4 as my EDC.

Kershaw Rake. Really like the bimetal blade for both durability and sharpness. Really nice grips too.

I ordered a Benchmade Adamas folder sometime in early December, it finally came in. I think this will be my primary carry knife.

Here is the spec. I really like the D2 Steel blade and hardened to 60-62 HRC, edge should hold real well. We'll see after skinning a couple of pigs with it.

Kershaw Blackout. Assisted opening (very quick) half serrated, half straight blade. Takes a fine edge (can shave with it, Lansky system) and holds it very well. The Lansky works well for me since there's no way I can ever sharpen with a stone and keep a consistent angle on the edge.
