i have had a strider DB for a few years. been using it a lot lately and it needs to be sharpened. can anyone give me some advice on sharpening the blade.

and do i sharpen the tanto point of the blade??? i dont remember it being really sharp when i got it. and because it is a thick workhouse how sharp on an edge o i put on it.

new to sharpening, any advice is welcome, and advice on sharpening products.

If you are uncomfortable doing it yourself send it back to strider and they will get the edge back to original.

I just sent my Strider out to Wickededge. Sharpening supplies/services.
Price is only $1./inch of blade. Plus return shipping. Nice people, think they have a you tube on how to sharpen them. Could not get an edge on mine, not with the stones, steels, diamonds I tried. Really doubt Strider will do it for less.
For <$10 think I'll be happy,thing was useless dull. info@wickededgeusa.com

I have a Strider SMF NSN in need of sharpening. If I send it to Strider they will sharpen it for free?
