P.s. Master Cutlery is also known as Master knives, it's a chinese maker, I have an M9 Bayonet made by them, the blade is stainless steel so hard, i couldn't get an edge on it with honing stones or a diamond sharpener, i had to hunt someone down with a diamond belt on a bench sander to get an fine razor hone on the thing and then it ruined the guys belt!!!
I will say this though, it does what the original M-9's do as far as cutting wire fencing i tested it on barbed wire around an abandoned pasture at my uncles farm.
On the other hand i also have a lockback pocket knife made by master, it's about on par performance and durability wise as most pocket knives i've owned over the years.
