Angry Serial #1201

Was purchased in late 1974 from B&S Guns in N. Charleston, SC while I was stationed there in the Navy.
It was a NM priced at $293. The bedding is visible in the photo. It was quite well done and shot great.

When going back for the 1977 Nationals, the gun had just been upgraded to a fat bbl by SA and was unshootable. SA forgot to cut feed ramps into the bbl. I drove to Geneseo on the way to Camp Perry, they took the rifle and sent it to Glen Nelson, SA gave me a loaner, I sighted it in on their back lot, and went off to Perry. When I got the repaired rifle, I shipped their rifle back. Sure wish I'd have asked for the old bbl back.

It lasted many years (with the fat bbl) and was sold to a up and coming junior shooter about 20 years later. I rediscovered this Polaroid shot last year. Brings back good memories.
