Very, very nice addition to your collection Cass. I really like all the paperwork you got with it. Congrats and thanks for sharing.

Thanks from Cass

Cass,

Great photography, fantastic package! My Devine #000106 came to me in an E2 stock, NM marked SAK 7-65 bbl, NM front and rear sights, and wearing an ART II scope. I know the scope had been added because the previous owner had it installed with no clip slot guide, but it was a cool looking rig nonetheless.

I have a question regarding the lens caps...I have never seen caps like you have pictured in your thread. Are they the correct caps? My ART II caps are marked "Butler Creek Jackson Hole Wyoming", which I understood to be the later (and correct) caps for the ART II scope. I also have an ARTEL with only 1 cap and it is marked "Butler Creek Belgrade Montana" which I thought was the early (and first style) caps for these scopes. My information may not be accurate and I am curious as to which would be the correct caps for the respective scopes.

Very true. I add the dummy kits to some of my rifles, but this one just looked good plain.

Thanks for all the comments.

I got lost after the ArTel post was moved a couple times and ended up merged in here with the Devine. I went back and edited a couple of the posts so it wouldn't be totally confusing.

I love the way they imprint the rubber seal on the carry case.

ETA: Right after I posted this went on Ebay, found some guy selling a bunch of scope caps, 1 set are R marked Redfields, picked up the whole lot for $19!

You're a hound for those caps! I remember when you posted before that you found some, but I can't believe you found these now.

I understand that the R marked lens caps are correct. They're scare because when they get hot they become soft and loose, so a lot were lost or just thrown away.

000106 looks great by the way!

Terrific find and a beautiful rifle. If you decide that you don't need the AR TEL then please let me know. Seriously! :-)
