Serial #001832

I'm obviously not a photographer; however, here are some pics of mine. I got this in the 80's while stationed at Ft Benning. A person had borrowed a substantial amount of money and couldn't pay, so I took the rifle. It's been in my possession since. I had the pleasure of knowing Glenn Nelson, USA Ret who was an armorer at USAMU and who participated in building some of these weapons. The original stock had been damaged and I replaced it with this one. I will try and post some better quality pictures when I can. Thanks for looking.

I think I have you beat: Glenn Nelson in 1976 built my devine #1273 into a super match with the Douglas heavy air gauge barrel. That was two barrels ago. By the way what ever happened to Nelson? Springfield had that shop set up for him in columbus. te

Mr. Nelson passed away on February 17, 2007 after battling several types of cancer.
