Hello everyone! I have for sale a Henry Big boy 357 Carbine, that I purchased from Cabelas sometime around late December or early Jan. ( can't remember but I do have a receipt that I will include ). I purchased it thinking I would have time to take it out however I also purchased my M1a which I mainly shoot at the range.
This gun has been in the gun case since my first outing with it which I only shot less than 50 rounds through it.
You are practically getting a like new rifle.
This is the one with the solid brass frame, buckhorns, and octagonal barrel.
The actual stock has some nice grain to it! You can see some flame in it. And boy does it shoot nice! This one shoots 357 mag and 38 special! Conditions:
As you can see in the pictures, everything is good except for a finish flaw that came when I first got it. It is more like a chip in the finish and it is very light. It is right next to the pistol grip and is no bigger than the tip of a pen. Does not penetrate the wood.
The second cosmetic flaw is on the underside of the hand guard. Again these indentations are do not penetrate the wood. I believe this came from accidentally rubbing on the shelf of my gun case. My finger shows the spot where you should be concerned, however it is only a cosmetic issue.
Finally the last cosmetic issue, is on the brass receiver on the left side (non-ported). There is some minor scratch. Not sure if it will rub out or not but I just wanted to point that out!
ZERO mechanical issues.
The rifle goes for 779 at Cabelas. I am selling it for 575 shipped (I prefer Paypal (discreet or gift), otherwise pay 3% to the total cost. This is a steal! It just needs love and attention!
Fire arm is sold as is so please look at all pictures and examine them! If you have any questions please just ask. Firearm includes all original paper work and packaging!
