I'm glad to see something so unusual posted for sale here. I was an 0331 many years ago, that 60 brings back some memories. Most good, some not so much. Thanks for posting, you may want to stick around.

If you want to buy this just to "chap my azz", go for it. You will succeed in only in finding your bank account 6k less in cash. I don't care whether anyone buys this thing or not. Makes no difference to me. As far as to what I said, I still stand firm with those beliefs. I will not appoligize for that. If you disagree with my stance, that is your choice. However, I would ask that you not make personal attacks or insults towards me. I did not do that to you, I would expect the same respect.

But Slayer your comments confuse me. As a car and gas pump collector I don't really care who I get a good deal from. On oldgas.com we have a area for non-members to post something they have for sale. Many of these people have "no clue" on what it is they have and all of us members try to beat each other to these posts to be the first to scoop up on a good deal. If someone is way out of wack on their pricing we either gracefully inform them or just ignore the post.

As a collector of many things, my favorite posts are those with something for sale as I am always trying to increase or better my collection. I think it would be a shame not to allow people to post things for sale.

Oh, I love the comment on seeing the wife- not being biased she is stunningly hot. She is better looking than the m-60 except for the 3 or 4 days a month she is pms ing.
ahhh, Gas Pump like a straight up old Gas Pump on Pawn Stars ans American Restoration...... I thought a "Gas Pump" was some kind od weird airsoft bb paintball M60....

carry on,
chalk it up to TBI

Maybe I'm outta line here....but I've made a whopping 17 posts since joining the forum. I have (2) positive PX/BX reviews (which Slayer has none). Does this mean I should not be able to sell or buy here, Slayer? I don't understand your view. I thought we all gathered here to share thoughts, opinions, deals, jokes, issues, and brainstorm towards better things. Maybe I'm missing the point.

Maybe I'm too junior to say this, but it's my opinion that we keep things open to EVERYONE to post ANYTHING they wish. But, then again, I've been told I have a small brain.

Chad

BTW: Beautiful Gun! And great luck to you with the sale.

Thanks from LoB, drbub22 and AsaSpades

I think we've expressed our views on who should be allowed to post for sale ads--both for and against. Lets get back to the point, SOMEONE buy that M60 and invite me over to shoot it.
<---I'll bring the 50.

Thanks from m0nkee221 and slayer6769

And chances are pretty good you will never see any reviews for me in the PX. Like I said, I do not appoligize for how I feel. It's is certainly not yours or anyone else's place to decide for me what I think is right or wrong. If you don't agree with me, I really couldn't care.

Your right. If somebody actually has the cash and wants it, buy it and enjoy.

How did this thread get hijacked into an opinion about the amount of purchases needed to post something in the PX? How about Slayer start a new thread for all this other stuff and let this guy try and sell his very nice M-16?

We have finished this thanks. No need to continue. Read before you speak. It's a M60, not a M16.

OH, man let me fix that. Thanks for pointing this out, it was weighing heavy on my feeble mind.

And, while we are pointing stuff out, shouldn't you have written;

"Read before you write", since I was not actually speaking??? Sometimes I do talk to myself, but never when I write.

Thanks from AsaSpades

Nothing personal about it . .

in internet etiquette this symbol ;-P typically indicate jest

and this animated gif: . . . was meant to reinforce that

hmmm . . . my only credit card has a 15K limit on it and it is paid off . . .

Seriously . . . I could afford that piece, and it would be an awesome thing to own but my fundages are being steered toward a 30-50 acre small farm to retire on in 5 yrs or so, someplace where I can get off the grid a bit.

Every time i look at it I think of that scene in Full Metal Jacket . . "Get Some!!"
