Rear Lug Receivers Are Here Now

A Rear Lug, B.D. Receiver, arrived today at my local California FFL dealer. It has 1/2 MOA windage cuts, a Brookfield type scope mount, and is tagged US Rifle 7.62mm with a 5000 series SR number. I will post photos when the receiver gets out of California cooling-off, waiting period jail, later this month. This super match receiver looks fantastic. LRB take notice - Bula Defence is in the house. I purchased this receiver from Wolfe Firearms. Jon Wolfe was really cool about getting my order out; a really down to earth person. Jeff Milller, at Bula Defense, quickly shipped out this kick-ass part; also very cool to talk too.

Thanks from nf1e, m14brian and RGB

LOL................ LRB has seen lots of "New Kids On The Block" fall by the wayside.

Best of luck with an unproven, long term supplier.

Note that the OP, Steve Shockway, only had 5 post prior to this one. We've seen lots of them come and go also.

You do know you're responding within the site sponsors area? The site sponsor that manufactured and supplied the receiver in question? The site sponsor that has supplied hundreds and hundreds of receivers to members of this forum? The sponsor that supplies major vendors and has government contracts? Why attack a site sponsor that's trying to improve the M14 supply chain?

LRB's reputation is fantastic. I appreciate Hobo Hiltons support of LRB. Such loyalty proves that everything is working as it should. Great men are building great rifles in two different houses and our country and the 2nd amendment is being served by both.

Perhaps, maybe someday, LRB and Bula Defense can accomplish a joint venture.

Well Bud............ 7.62MM Firearms (Chris) was a sponsor as well.....

Perhaps you need to do your homework and brush up on the history of previous manufacturer's on this site.

If your trying to say a "sponsor" gets some sort of privilege then you might think again.

The proof will be in the pudding.

Actually you do make a good point in that Bula does need to show us longevity! I could not agree with you more to be honest.

However, my thinking is that Bula has been here for awhile now and they make good whenever an issue arises. The whole validate my opinion by using a Double Bind like "someone did something in the past means that someone else will do it in the future" does not work for me. I don't think it's fair to attack Bula and Jeff, out of the blue, when at every turn they've proven themselves to be honorable!

You're comparing 7.62MM Firearms (did they even put out a single in-spec receiver and/or any product that didn't need extensive work?) with Bula who has now gone through at least two 50+ receiver/barreled-action group buys? Um... ok.

Thanks from unkola, leonmckee and RGB

You will enjoy your Bula. I have their rear lugged receiver, medium weight barrel, and every other part they have to offer on my match rifle. I even have a Bula Garand barrel that will go on my match Garand.
Unfortunately, there are people out there who still think the world is flat. I'm happy to use my "unproven" rifle regularly (just about every weekend) since I built it.

Might as well get the rest of the Bula parts! Why buy used? The parts fit nice and snug, the op rod drops in and is smooth like butter. I shot matches agaist guys with tricked out Fultons, Springfields and Smiths. The problems with with every one of these rifles were the shooters...
