Now the there is the a National BOB Day the 18th of May? Yea the 18th of May...
You come home and turn out the lights, no power all weekend, and NO water from the tap. Tent in the Back yard...Cook All meals over a fire BBQ is ok or go cold....
Now the dishes NO paper plates no easy throw away stuff heat water and wash..
Now we leave camp with your day pack and go look for food we can walk or ride a bike NO Cars Trucks and we are headed to learn about getting something to eat NO stores....
Saturday is not what we thought it would be our game is on TV NO power and just you and your BOB and family........Now the wife has had enough.....and the kids are saying your "CRAZY"......$hit is in the air........
Are you and your family ready to sing around the fire? Saturday night and sore and now maybe thinking of saying to "hell o" with this..
Sunday and powdered eggs and NO grease well maybe its time to open the SPAM...

My pipes froze for a couple of days this week... a lot of peeing off the porch happened and a whole lot of not showering...

A common sight on the big overnight hiking trails used to be where people had dumped items out of their packs-things like frying pans and spare boots and large towels and lots of crazier stuff. One time I saw where someone had dumped their entire pack, including the pack itself, halfway up a small mountain (even after it was picked over, it was an attraction for thru-hikers that whole summer). I wonder if people would do the same things with their BOB items if they actually had to use the bags in a SHHTF scenario.
