Smooth Operator 1903M-S Carbine

This little rifle is a joy to carry and shoot. There was no need to save this one from a junk pile. I was more than happy to care for it till the next owner get's it!
6.5x54mm Mannlicher-Schoenauer Ammo shown was made in Canada once upon a time, for show purpose only.
It seems Ernest Hemingway was fond of these rifles. Both in using them in his writing as well as in his personal life.
You don't see these around much anymore, thought someone wolud like to look.
Hope you liked it,

Thanks for sharing. Those are really nice, smooth rifles. I friend of mine had one just about like it, but sold it, and is hoping to find an uncut 03/14 rifle with a good bore.

Is that the same type of rifle Peter Lawford carries in the movie, The Longest Day? Looks familiar.
