Rem 700 Tactical
Here is a picture of my son Tom with his Rem 700 Tactical Rifle in .308. This is his first buck that he has taken with his Suppressed Rem 700 Tactical Rifle. He shot this buck while it was running with another buck and doe. When the buck went down the other two deer just stopped in their tracks and looked around. They had no idea where the shot came from. When Tom dialed his cell phone to call me they took off hearing him dialing his phone. Five members of our camp were 300 yards away on a high road and watched the deers running through the tall brush. They never heard the shot. They saw the buck go down and the other two just stop and look around then take off.
This 7 pointer dropped dead when shot right on the same spot that Tom's nine pointer dropped dead just two years earlier. He shot both deers from a tree stand.
These rifles are very accurate. We sited this rifle in at New Holland GC in PA. Tom hit a steel plate with one shot at 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 yard range. It took him 5 shots to hit the steel at 6oo yards. Not bad for a suppressed rifle with a 16.25" barrel.
