Got all the goodies and loaded my new 308 Ruger Precision Rifle up today with scope (Athlon 6-24X50), Burris 30mm Extreme Rings, bi-pod (Caldwell), and bolt shroud (Titanium).
After these storms, it is off to the range.
Edited 10-25-16 after trip to range.
Okay, I just got this thing put together and was dying to try it out. I used once fired range brass, sized and trimmed, Hornady 168 Gr BTHP, over 42.grains of Reloader 15. OAL 2.800 I got the thing on paper and tried to see what I could do for accuracy. This target is at 100 yards. The first tight group is 8 shots. I raised the sights two clicks and got 4 in the 10 ring. I am 63 years old and had to deal with my heart beat in the scope. But over all am very impressed with this gun. I can't wait to see what she will do with the same type brass.
My buddy has one of these and he shot a five shot group you could cover with a nickle last week.
Both are in 308 Winchester, Athlon 6-24X 50 scope, and Burris Extreme Tactical rings.
