So how difficult is it to find the ruger scout rifle? Local dealers seem to be out.

There are a half dozen on Gun Broker for between $999 and $1150.

It's really more of a concept than a model of course. I'm sure you knew that alrwady, I just figured it was worth mentioning that you could always just build your own, and it doesn't even have to be a Ruger.

Thoght seriously about that. A good 1903A3 receiver would work for me as I have "some" spares. Or even a Remington 721/722. :o)

if i'm not mistaken my LGS had one if you strike out with those look up 111guns she's great to deal with
