This isn't exactly a "precision" rifle, but it was designed for NRA Highpower. It's an M1 Garand, custom receiver, match barrel, chambered in 7.62mm NATO, and Redfield Palma sights. It shoots MOA.

The next one is a panther arms LR308, with a Nikon scope. It shoots .5 MOA

*not posting as an attempt to sell*

This is the one we have right now so I thought I'd show it. I don't know much on it so I'l just copy the link to gunbroker. Excuse the bosses spelling in the description. It's about the most "precise" gun I'll ever hold.

Remington 700 police LTR w/ Leupold Mark 4 4.5-14x TMR w/ M5 turrets and harris bipod. Barrel has since been threaded w/ a SEI USCG brake (waiting on suppressor).

Just got the rifle this month and took a precision rifle class with it, shooting out to 1000 yards with FGMM 175's. I was shooting 1 MOA during our 100 yard sight ins and getting 100% hits on FBI shillouttes and 1 mph movers out to 600, about 25% hits on a 2 MOA target at 1000 on my first attempt.

Precision enough for most practical use. I call it my M25 varminter. I know, 1 moa isn't great , but this on will print consecutive 1 moa 10 rnd. groups. Took years to get an M14 that would do it for me.

Here's a fun little Savage 110 I built up [started off as a plastic stocked Walmart gun in 270 win] using a heavy stainless 308 win barrel that I cut down and re crowned to 20". I put a steel picatinny base and mounted a Bushnell Elite 3200 10 x fixed scope and put it all in a Choate folding "Ultimate sniper" stock. It will shoot under 1 MOA all day long even with the stock Savage trigger, I want to replace the trigger one of these days with some thing lighter.

I have heard a lot of guys knock Savage's but I think it is because the have never shot one.

Casey

Nice rifles everyone!!!

Most of you have me beat, but these are my 3 girls.

Top to bottom: SAI standard in AA precision stock, with Nikon Monarch 4-16x50 SF on SAI Gen III mount. Only mods are trigger job & Sadlak OpRod spring guide. Shoots about an 1-1/2"

Bushy fluted 14.5" heavy BBL AR with Mid length YHM free-float forearm, JP bolt & carrier, 25 oz Jard single stage trigger, Vltor ModStock, YHM front & rear flip up BUIS Eotech 5.11.A65, YHM Phantom flash suppressor. She'll put 10 52 gn SMK's into .8" all day long at 100yds.

Steyr Mountain Rifle in 7mm-08, with Leupold VX-III 3.5-10x50 in Leupold mounts & rings. She'll put 5 162 A-max into .75" @ 100yds. Not bad for an out of the box hunting rifle...

Thanks from islandermyk
