It is drilled and tapped for a scope just like all the rest of the new bolt actions that are made today, you might have just not asked that because most rifles have that from the factory now a days.
All in all its just a lighter version of a 10/110.
Good Shooting. | Thank you for the response. I have an older 110 without the accu-trigger in .223 . For the money, I think Savage makes a very accurate bolt weapon out of the box. I was told it was due to the fact that they make their own barrels, or the type of barrels. I don't know. I do know that with it being in a John Plaster Super Varmint stock, with a Leupold Vari-X II 6.5-20 power, I can usually put a clean round through a taped dime on a paper target, benchrest, about 8/10 times at 100 meters. No work on the trigger.
I was just wondering about the tapping for the scope because it comes with iron sights.
