Repro 98k Sniper rifle

I got this rifle years ago at a gun show off of a young Marine that had had it drilled and tapped and done some other less than stellar work to her.
Her original trigger was awful, had the bolt shroud and cocking piece cut and ground to clear a low mounted saftety (and VERY badly done), but she mounted a Ziess 6X42 scope so I came out ahead I though. I only had 450 in the rifle, and the scope is worth more than that.
So after brainstorming for a while I decided to replace the bolt shroud, cocking piece and safety, replace the the original trigger with a Timney and bought a reproduction short rail German scope mount. I'd originally mounted the Ziess in the new mount but she didnt have enough elevation to zero so I replaced it with a replica ZF39 scope.
I've yet to attempt the zeroing exercise, but I hope to once the weather warms up.

I've been thinking about dusting off my Yugo Mauser as of late.
Yours has given me motivation to do so!

Looking sharp!! Great job righting the wrongs of that rifle too :)

Very classy rig.

Got a handload that you like for accuracy from the 8mm?

first time I shot the rifle was with Winchester 170 grain soft points, and shes plenty accurate. I'm going to zero it with PPU 198 grain match ammo made for the M76 sniper rilfe. I'm just for the weather to warm up some.
