New toy

Just picked up my new toy from Krieger Barrels a couple of days ago, now the fun of load development will soon begin.

Built on a Remington 700 long action
Action and bolt trued by Krieger
26" 5r barrel with a 1 in 8.5 twist
HS Precision m24 stock bedded by Krieger
Jewel trigger
Vias muzzle break
Vortex Viper PST 6-24 MIL-MIL scope
EGW 20 MOA base

Next is sending the bolt to Holland gunsmithing to install a bolt handle and I'll Cerakote the action and barrel but have yet to decide on a color.

What I did on 2 700s is the TACOPS bolt knobs . Did them myself, and it was cheap, check em out, unless youre set on the holland. Nice rifle also bud, hope you enjoy

what cartridge?
I'm assuming not .308, since it's a long action. It sounds like it will be a nice setup.

Funny that I forgot to list the cartridger, it's a 7mm Rem Mag.

great cartridge IMO
With that twist and length you should be able to get the most out of 175 gr bullets.
