Scope for AR-30 (.338 Lapua)

Hello all.

I'm going to be buying an AR-30 in .338 Lapua sometime this summer (gotta wait for the funds to get in). I'm trying to pick out a scope for it. From what I have read, Nighforce is hard to beat but they are pricey. My father-in-law has a Zeiss Rapid Z-1000 on his Remington 700 (.308). I really like that one but am not sure if it can hold up well on a .338. I was also looking at Sightron.

What do you guy think?

Ive got 2 Lapua's, my rem police has a mark4 leupold 6.5-20 TMR illuminated, and my AIAWSM now has the same but its a 8-25. Hope you enjoy it, if you dont reload, after you get the lapua, you will. Factory stuff, remington, goes about 120 bucks for 20 rounds

Sightron is rated for .50 BMG, or the Zeiss scope I mentioned is rated for that?

Hammer, I reload a lot for .308 and 30.06 so I will be for this also.

Bamban, I would love to get one of those. If I find that I can afford it after I buy the rifle, then no doubt that's what I'll get.

To get the most out of the .338 Lapua, you ought to look into the Hubble Telescope.
