| remington 700 20 inch barrel velocity?
I am going to sight in my remington 700 this weekend but i have a question about dope charts. i have a remington 700 sps with a 20 inch barrel but most ammunition manufacturers use 24 inch barrels when they test ammo, basically how much velocity am i losing with a 20 inch barrel? i need to know so that i dont put 2900 fps into my ballistics calculator when its really more like 2700 fps and come up with different bullet drop numbers. wish i had access to a chronograph but unfortunately i dont right now, so hopefully someone can help out
