M1A Super Match

I have a beautiful M1A Super Match with over sized walnut stock. My problem is the owners manual states that you should not remove the stock from the receiver because it may damage the glass bedding and reduce accuracy. How do I clean and inspect all of the parts I can not get to with the stock in place. How do I grease the bolt roller or the op rod?

I take mine apart once a year, generally after shooting season, inspect, clean and lube the parts. You won't destroy the bedding. Just don't do it all the time. The SM is sweet isn't it?Posted November 26th, 2011 at 11:47 AM by Willie_Maker
