I learned how to "float test" hardware before getting new hardware from Stores. Must be a goldmine of rusting stuff underneath the mooring place of every nuke sub tender the Navy ever had!

At least several thousand complete services of Anchor-Hawking white glassware!

Yes, the friggin' Squid posted in the Army section! Service was Service!

Thanks from BUDS13

In the Infantry (USMC & Army) I learned to be a homeless person. I learned to get used to being tired, sore, dirty, & to sleep anywhere. I learned the fine line between packing light & freezing at night. I learned to eat just about anything & how to be a "ghetto gourmet" with MRE's. We also learned to be cockroachs. Anywhere there was food, light, or heat is where we would congregate. I also learned to sleep with IR chem lights on me so that AAV's & tanks wouldn't run me over (they called us "crunchies").

Don`t run, when you can walk. Don`t walk, when you can stand. Don`t stand, when you can sit. Don`t sit, when you can lie. Don`t lie, when you can sleep.

Hahahaha. I'm going to have to use that next time a detail comes up
