Was at Ft. Hood from 96-99. Was in B2/5 Cav. Most of my time there, we were always deployed.

Married the 1SGT's Daughter lol and we have been happily married for 14 yrs.

Just got back from Afghanistan. I was with 3/227th 1st Air Cav. We supported them with MEDEVAC coverage in RC-West! There is something to say about the CAV. I earned my silver and gold spurs with them. Haven't had that Esprit de Corps since I was in the 82nd.

I am not a 19d, but I love the CAVALRY. I was the Commo Guy for the units I was in. I was in 4 Cavalry units during my time in the army. I also have my Spurs and my Stetson sits on my Dresser now.

A 1/8 Cav 90. Was'nt there long. Sent down from 2nd A.D. After there inactivation. Was only there about 2 or 3 months then PCSed to Ft Stewart.
