yeap, had one go down my sleeve while firing in the prone. Shook it out easy enough without losing control of my weapon.
Knew another guy who had one get wedged between his cheek and the chin strap to his helmet. That one left him with a good burn.

I still have a mark where a case from an M2 carbine got stuck in the waist band of my shorts, and that was in 1971.

That was the 223 two step.

I've seen the 30cal brake dance, got more vocalization, and more fun to watch.

My buddy in the Army had a .22 empty go down his back one day out at Clark Brothers in Warrenton, VA (we had to go somewhere to shoot since the Army didn't give us the opportunity but 2 times a year). He did the dance. When he pulled his shirt up he had two very pretty burns. One was an impression (blister) of a .22 cartridge lying sideways and the second was the bottom of a .22 case. Very pretty. You could see the circle of the base and the very pretty "U" so we knew it was a Remington case.

I know a guy in NC who has a long scar on the side of his neck. A .308 case hit his neck and stuck (that's right, burnt to his skin) and he had to stop firing, reach up and pull it off his neck. Its just a pink scar today but I'll bet it was nasty looking right after it happened.

I got a casing stuck in between my toes once, when I was wearing flip-flops at the range. I've also had one land in my front shirt pocket.

Cool

Hot brass is your friend, when it's below 30 degrees.

After many years of overhead welding in a seat harness and getting slag down the top of my boots, hot brass just isn't so bad.

Have to compliment the guy in the video on his muzzle discipline.

I went shooting with some realy hillbillies once and one of the girlfriends has a hot 9mm brass go down her shirt. It was quite a show!

I personally have had some hot brass land on my wrist and a few cases of 9mm came back and hit me between they eyes. I always wear a ball cap now while shooting pistols.

I had a piece of .45 brass become lodged between my glasses and face once. That was pretty exciting! No scar though.

Anyone who has never gotten some hot brass just hasn't shot enough. It's like a shooters right of passage.

I work as...

a veterans service officer. Took a claim from a young Marine last year with a familiar scar on the back of his neck. A 7.62 case burned his neck so perfectly, you knew the size and caliber at just a glance. The VA rated the scar (0% - not painful or tender). I'm quite sure he wanted to dance as well.

Hot brass ended up around the collar area a couple times. Does not feel good but is always funny when it happens to another guy. The bad part is your blouse collar rubbing on it for the next week.
