RL-15 for 69 SMK
After consulting Sierra's guide and Alliant's website for a proper charge, I went with 25.3 grns of RL-15 and set it at 2.260". Using once fired BHA match brass and 7 1/2 SRP. While seating the bullet, I felt and heard the powder compress. A little "crunch". I've used 25.0 grns RL-15 with the 69, but just don't recall the powder being compressed.
I am going to load some 80 grn AMAX also with the RL-15. Any thoughts from members on these issues? Or am I over thinking it? Thanks.
