Thanks for the link and the site. I know where I can get targets and I can let my 1SG and TRNG NCO know. It is funny I am always begging to take my joe's to a range and the excusse is that we dont have targets or something.
Well I always show up with targets and then it is we dont have a range laid on. Well I get with some other unit and they tell me yaeh I can bring either my squad or thw whole PLT out to shoot.
Well then it get down to we dont have transportation or other stuff. I have went into my own pocket to get stuff for my soldiers just so they could go shoot and do what they needed to do.
Hell before we went to Iraq this time I went into my own pocket and personaly bought my own squad cleaning kits because the unti did not have any.
That set me back $600.00 out of my own pocket. When they asked where we got the cleaning kit's I told my CO and 1SG and then the told me to show them a reciept. Well I did and then the got pissed because I did not get them one.
Well I explained to both of them that it should not even come down to me having to spend my own money on stuff that the arms room should already have.
It is funny and I can not help but to laugh at all of them. I am a prior 11B and got messed up in iraq the first time and was forced to get medicaly reclassed.
Out of everything that I could have hotten into I was given the MOS of 88M. I asked what the hell that was and was told a truck driver.
Well all I can say is that everyone at work thinks I am crazy and insane. I even had one of the SGM's in the Squadron ask me how in the hell does a E-5 intemidate so many senior NCO's from the 1SG down to the E6's.
I explained to him that they are just E-8's, E-7's and E-6's. Myself and a few others that used to be 11B's but medicaly reclassed are really what you would call an NCO. He just shook his head laughed.
