New chronograph arrived

Just received a Labradar chronograph.
Only learned about these things a week ago and just had to add one to my range.
Works like a champ and records data that I am interested in.

I've been salivating over these for awhile,...just hate to shuck out that much scratch.

A couple of my F Class buddies have them and they are really awsome machines.

I just decided that it was time to get something with more capabilities than my old Pro Chrono.
Having the standard deviation calculated by the machine and knowing the speed of a bullet at multiple distances concurrently is awesome.
Then not having to shoot through a small area of the old thing is great.

How would you set one of these up for rifle from the bench? Cost?

I've seen one of these used by a pistol shooter and was intrigued also...

Mine is set up on a tri pod now. Just set it up within a couple of feet to either side of the muzzle and you are good to go. The first photo showed it with the optional bench stand. This is how it goes for my use. Cost is about half that of an entry level SAI M1A. They can measure the speed of just about anything including shotgun slugs , 22 rf and even arrows.

Exactly, and the old ones provide limited data.

Nice technology Art.

Does it have the capability to export its dataset so you can import it into excel, or another app, and keep a historical log?

Thanks from nf1e

Sure does. SD card equipped and USB connect to a computer. Only got it yesterday so I have a ton of experimenting and learning to do.

Not familiar with that rig either but it looks very usable. BTW, if that's your home range I am supremely jealous!

Very modern, and hi tech. Much less chance of shooting this one as well.

FN SPR with 20" chrome lined barrel in a McMillan stock with Leupold 8.5 - 25 scope. 1/2 moa or better depending how much coffee I have consumed.
