It might help to be a sponsor here, and list your website...

I googled your website easily enough, but not everybody's going to be that diligent.

Also, a lot of us may be logging in from California or wherever, but we have shipping addresses where these are legal, and we are prospective customers.

Double $18 would be $36, which isn't an unreasonable price for something this special.

I've been shooting since the early 1990s. The market has had its ups and downs.

If you introduce a unique quality product at a reasonable price, then you'll have a following when the market goes berserk again.

Sure looks cool.

Fully loaded, I'm sure it makes a good plumb weight to keep your sights vertical!

I'd buy one or two, just because, but Newsom, Brown, and Feinstein won't let me have the nice toys. I guess they think I'm not an adult yet...

I've purchased a few M14 mags for around $40 over the years, and except for a couple that ended up being fakes (from a gun show) I've not considered them grossly overpriced.

The availability of CMIs for under $20 has been great for my inventory, but I'd still be interested in trying out a well made 30.

My absence from the website has been no indication of my interest, just my lack of knowledge that it exists.

What's the maximum overall length of a cartridge they will accept?

Thanks from Wasted ammo

Retail sales have been down for both internet and brick & mortar stores this year. The only exception has been in firearm, ammo and accessory sales from our sales analysis. So there is a lot of pricing competition going on cutting into company's sale $'s and profit margins. I don't know what you have budgeted for advertising but you need to let potential customers know what you have to offer. Just don't use the M14 forum to generate sales but as a feedback tool. If you feel you have a bug free production run set up an Amazon account (if not already done) and get the mag posted and reference your web site for more traffic and associated sales. I don't what your final cost is on the magazine but price at 30%-40% over cost but keep it within reason of the mass market competition, noting you have a superior product than the others and why. Also customers like and seek out the "Made In the USA" label and include it you advertising. You're breaking into a market that has skepticism about reliability and functionality and that needs to be proven over time with field feedback. Best of luck.

Mag is 2.819" recommended max is 2.8" which is basically the common ammo you would you be blasting 30 at a time with. We are two extra layers thick which took some of the extra space the CMI mags have.

Does Amazon sell magazines?

Really, you want to sell these by the truckload via Brownells, Midway, PSA, et al.

Also, I'll be on the sidelines until I hear from several people that these are unproblematic. I don't have the time or the patience to deal with magazines that don't work well...

Airsoft need not apply...

AFAIK, Amazon does NOT sell magazines for firearms.

Now, eBay, on the other hand...

eBay is still hit and miss, and unreliable for this type stuff. They pull a lot of gun parts and normal capacity mags off. I've had sellers tell me you can play games with how it's worded sometimes though.
