Yeah, sorry Doug. I went back and looked. Ken reviewed MEN, but it was date of mfg. way earlier than this although recent lots review very well on other sites too. It's on his ammo best in like numerical order out of what I believe he's shot out of his rifles. It's not part of like a range report, but it's in the ammo sub-forum. At 60 yrs. old now fragments of info I've read beginning to come together the wrong way/s.

Hey guys lots of good science and speculation in this thread with very few posts on how this ammo shoots in our M14s. So how does it shoot? Should I stock up on some? Or go some where else? Lots of good prices through numerous sites.

Same deal.

Picked up 960 as well, of course, after you spend your available money to get a good deal, and the good deal is still available, you feel like you're missing out on a good deal...

Purchased 320 rounds. Very nice ammo. Consistent, and precise. And made in 2016 heck that's new mfg. Quality rounds. I have more on order.

I shot some the other day and ordered 1K more of the stuff. 2016 production. I was shooting groups touching at 100 yards. The brass looks very re-loadable. Good price as well. Nice not having the military crimp.

Thanks from TheShooter

well a fellow shooter on this forum named geeck called me. He tested 2016 MEN with his EBR. At 200 yards he said all five shots were inside the 10 ring. pretty good for ball ammo. no pictures to show the target sorry

Thanks from mic52

It has a green primer seal, and looks to be a thin clear coat on the bullet neck area. Very clean looking ammo. I can't wait to reload some of the brass, it looks really good.

Good to know. There's been reviews of other MEN lots that didn't clock in too tough. Just received a SGA shipment with other calibers, but just 40 rds. MEN16 to see how it is along with Ken's review he posted earlier.

All MEN ammo I've used has been excellent. Easily the equal of Hirt. While it is NATO spec , the stuff I had was made for New Zealand , which along with Australia was not a NATO member , hence no circ/cross.

Thanks from Rich D
