Just what it says: run the assembly line till you runout of either brass, or bullets, or primers or the powder. Even after you have completed the contract number of rounds required to be manufactured. You just run the line till it's dried-up.

I miss Ray.

I as referring to the amount of concentricity in the loaded ammo.

Excess runout usually means the ammo is out of round to the axis of itself....the worse the runout, the more a bullet will "wobble".

Thanks for posting that. I have a runout gage but just used it to sort rounds.

D Haig,
Those velocity numbers seem low. What was the length of the barrel on your rifle?

I agree. It was 18" ptr G3 clone. chrono was about 15' in front. If someone else doesn't ahead of me I'll take the m1a out there and try.

Thanks from m14nm

M14nm, you were right, great observation.
Shot 3 with m1a this morning

2778.7
2787.4
2786.4

Ave 2784

Very close spread. I would have liked a larger sample but don't want to waste it.

Thanks from m14nm and Dougboffl

D Haig, thanks.
Going through my notes, I thought something was a'mis. I recorded
MEN94 @
2744
2768
2775
2763
2753

10' from the muzzle.

I put in an order Monday night, order was completed Tuesday, was emailed a tracking # Wednesday.

Looks like SGammo is chugging along.

Mrm1a, thanks for video. I looked up the 7.62 NATO. The velocities should be in the mid 2700s like m14mn and I chronographed. Maybe the video test uses a different lot or something.

Thanks from MrM1A

Wow this stuff shot pretty good out of my Scout

[IMG][/IMG]

just ignore the little holes and the hole from a 12g slug. besides the flyer on the left that i pulled it was a awesome group for me. I bet a better shooter could do some good things with this ammo.

Thanks from Douglas Haig and mic52
