Brass Manufacturer ID

I need help to ID who made some brass that I have. The only markings on the brass is "7.62x51" and then "21" anf then "10".

No other marings on the brass. It decaps odd.

Any help would be appreciated

When you say it decaps odd, are you sure it's not berdan primed?

My references only go to 1981. Cartridges with number only head stamps similar to yours are generally imported from European sources. If you have a fired case, check the primer holes. If Berdan primed it won't be US made.

Brass ID

It was not Berden, but when the primer came out it left an opening completely across the primer hole and an odd looking piece came out with the primer. All of the other brass that was with it was LC and WCC brass.
This is once fired from one of out military installations.

Probably Hungary or Poland. That is their factory numbering.

That's Berdan primed. You're punching out the web between the two Berdan primer vents.

Talking

My research lead me to the same conclusion that it's either Hungary or Poland that used 21 as a Factory code. Both used berdan as standard primer.
