No. It's my rainy day cowboy hat to go with my slicker. Keeps me nice and dry at those rainy cowboy matches. I shoot with my father and he insists that we go to every match he says real Cowboys wouldn't have stayed home in the rain.

Thanks from SRA

Photo is a little old - I have a couple more loaders now....
Set up with the 650s loading pistol calibers, and the 550s loading rifle cals.

I find it easier and in the end cheaper to just get more presses. I find them on Craigs list, and other garage sale type places. I pretty much leave them set up in one caliber, as I load for the machineguns, and constantly need ammo anyway. I just do not load a lot at any one sitting-

Awards Showcase

It's a mess. I been busy with the installation of the new 550b. I just finished my first 200 rounds on it. FYI the instructions are off, the blue wing nut on the powder actuator needs to compress the spring. The instructions say to tighten. Until the spring barely touches the white cap, but it has to tighten to compress spring 50%. Had to call Dillon on that powder throws weren't consistent until I tighten the wing nut. It's going to take some getting used to not seeing every charge on the scale. so far so good! i like the dillon.

I always push the handle all the way up ( like you were seating a primer) then snug up the the fail safe rod blue nut. Then release the handle and turn the nut in a couple of turns. You should have good spring pressure and the shell pate should rebound smartly.
