Awards Showcase

You left out bar R ,A(apex), A and X stamped KMT.
BRW S-l has got to be the most common.

A stamped KMT with X

Thanks from budster

I have all of those but an A and a bar W. I don't count the SA and TRW. I think they are mythical beasts.

I have two A over KMT and passed on another. I used to think BR-W B2's were rare of which I now have 3 and have passed on others.

In my opinion I think the bar R's are the hardest to come by along with the two mentioned that I don't have. The bar W's may be more common than I think. It's tough to gauge with all the fake W marked mags on the market.

The Four most Difficult to find was
KMT 7 weld 4th hardest
BRW B-2 3rd hardest
W 2nd Hardest
A the absolute Hardest to find

I'll dig out my X marked KMT later this evening when I get home.

Here is a thread I started with pics of the A over KMT.

I just opened some mags in original packaging I bought recently.

I got:

2 - "A" KMT Mags in a double mag box.
8 - UHC Mags, 4 each in a box and outer package marked "Springfield Armory"

Don't forget LE and military only CMI marked mags. I have seen a TRW mag years ago. I passed on it. I did not know any better then. What if?

I wish someone could post a pic of a TRW. The only pic I have ever seen is in "The Last Steel Warrior" and it's not a very good pic at that. If that book is accurate then there should be also be BRW, HR, and H-R along with the TRW and SA. All of those are pictured. I have never seen Different weigh in on that.

Also, I believe there is a new variation of a CMI mag that came up in another thread.
Here is a link. Post Ban or Pre Ban CMI mag?

Here are the pics of the X marked KMT. The X is very lightly stamped and I had a tough time capturing it.

Of course I did! Pictures are here:

Enjoy! I sure did! The last two mags shown without wrapping are mags I've had for awhile, all others are recent buys.

Thanks from tnw50cal
