Talking 300 Blackout Load Data?

Good afternoon fellas,

I have an entire rifle build coming in tomorrow afternoon from UPS. Of course it is all in parts, which is the fun of building. Long story short, I also ordered a set of Redding 300BLK FL Dies and recently got a ton of 165gr .30 bullets. I plan to start cutting my .223 bras tonight with my new Harbor Freight 2" Table Saw (cool saw I saw others using online). Well, I have pretty much everything I need except for loading data!! The most important part!!

I looked through all of my reloading manuals and none of them had any 300BLK or Whisper load data. I'm guessing because it is relatively newer cartridge. Here is my question: I am not looking for home recipes, but do any of you have solid data (SAAMI) in any of you manuals that you could scan and email or post up here? I know that Hornady's newest 9th edition manual has info, but I have not got my hands on it as of yet. I want to start reloading tomorrow so that I can hit the range Tuesday.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I will be using both Hornady A-Max 168 grain bullets as well as the Sierra Game King BTHP 165 grains. I also plan to use IMR4895, but any other powder suggestions would be great. Thanks for your help.

Sapp from the 2012 Hodgdon Annual Manual, seems that the 300 like fast spherical powders ,H-110, Lil'gun and the fine extruded IMR-4227.

See the latest issue of American Rifleman — you are a member of the NRA, aren't you?!

IIRC, having read the article in American Rifleman, .300 Blackout isn't based on the .223 cartridge, but the old .221 Fireball case.

Yes, you can reform 5.56/.223 cases and and get virtually identical diementions and case weights as Hornady brass, cheap and easy too do with this case and your only out your time and some effort.

.300 Whisper started with a .221 Remington Fireball and isn't a SAAMI aproved cartrage , 300 Blackout is based on the 5.56/.223 and was SAAMI aproved in Jan/2011. Externaly the two cartrages share the same dimentions.
