LC 5.56 question

I am sorting my 5.56 brass and need help identifying some LC brass. I have LC with two digit date and NATO cross. I also have LC with two digit date and no cross. The L, C, and date are at 12, 3, 6, and 9.

The third brass is LC with date and no cross but the L is at 12, the C is at 2, the date is at 6 and 8 with round punch marks at 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11.

Are these other two Lake City non NATO brass or something else?

Thanks in advance.
Brian

LC headstamps

These are examples of the 3 groups I have. I The one is a LC NATO case. The other two are the ones I have questions about.

Thanks,
Brian

Unhappy

I see the three dipples on the last headstamp B Cahill as you noted above. I'm still not seeing the other markings that well. But I still don't know who the manufacture was. It's just Lake City for the first two as you know as well, the last one I'm not able to help you with right now. Sorry

It's not corrosive, it's berdan so you can't reload it, but it's good to sell the brass metal.

Every thing on this list is non-corrosive, but the ammunition from the Czech Republics.

Mil Surplus ammunition manufactures for the 7.62x51mm

PMJ head stamp?

shot these out of our 240's on board the ship. Never seen them before. Usually get LC head stamp but this time it was mainly WCC and this PMJ stuff.

XXIV Corps I saw your post above ^^^^^and have a question. Per your post the second set of numbers is the week manufactured with this ammo, is this true of most surplus?

I was sorting through 500 LC primed cases, separating by headstamp and date. The majority are LC 12, but I've found a couple of dozen LC 12 LR. Are these different other than the headstamp? They average about the same weight, but I didn't fill one with water to check volume.
I have been cleaning the tar out of the necks with q tips then just neck sizing since they are unfired. They drop into a Wilson case gauge perfectly. I am loading 41.5 IMR 4895 with 168 SMK. The load does 1" or less off sandbags at 100 yards from a Springfield Loaded.
I have not tried the LC 12 LRs yet.

Help ID this ammo...

I've got 520 rounds of 7.62X51 ammo I'm trying to identify. Bought this several years ago and had been thinking it was British. Now, I'm not so sure. It comes in 20 round packages of which 26 packages are packed in a 50 cal ammo can for a total of 520 rounds.

Headstamp reads: *7.62X51* across top rocker and *80-MDRP* across bottom rocker.

Package ID is: 20 Cartridges cal 7.62 Ball, Lot: 1-80

Only thing I'm sure of is it is 1980 production.

Who made this ammo? Is it Berdan primed? Assuming it is non-corrosive.

Who made this ammo? Israel Is it Berdan primed? No Assuming it is non-corrosive. I would think so
Paraguay, '79, [MDRP ], Berdan, ring crimp with light red primer sealant. 7.62x51 79-MDRP (France)
Paraguay, '80, [MDRP ], Boxer, ring crimp with light red primer sealant. 7.62x51 80 MDRP (Israel)

The rest of the story...
illegal small arms ammunition was being shipped South Africa through a back door to Ministry of Defense in Republic of Paraguay (MDRP). Who contracted with France first then Israel to manufacture small arms ammunition and have them ship it to South Africa... But in 1980 it was turned away when everyone found out it was illegal small arms ammunition being shipped in.
