Anyone familiar with a triangle as a head stamp? I don't have the photo but it's on a .45 ACP round.

45 AUTO is at 6 o'clock, the triangle would be at 10 o'clock and 91 is at 2 o'clock.

Just curious... thanks!

.308 round with a circle with a cros sinside

.308 round with a circle with a cross inside but it the round does not have a bullet tip in it the round seems to be closed with a red kind of wax some of the primers are also marked with a red type color surounding them. I've had them now for about ten years now i just found them but i have toget them off the belt if i don't since i live in the Commie State of California-Land you get the point. So I'm thinking they are blanks can anyone tell me if my guess is correct..
Thank you

LC brass for sale?

I was talking to a gentlemen at my local range and heard that some one on here had a 1000 LC brass for sale. If any one knows who it is or can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

What you have is "Bosnian, '03, [IK], Boxer, zero crimp with bright red primer sealant. 7.62x51 IK
" The Bosnian IK is not corrosive, it's standard military surplus ammunition...

In the future Tom, you can look to this Sticky to answer a lot of your questions...

In using the link provided I am still not quite sure of the ammunition I acquired recently. It is marked as follows:

A 79, 7.62 (cal obviously) R1 M1

If I read the codes correctly it is most likely American made but what does the R1 M1 represent....

I was just at the range recently and was qualifying on the 240B. I noticed the ammo we where shooting was not LC. The headstamps on the ball where SBS 08 NATO and the tracers where PMJ 07 NATO. Any ideas on the man. of these?

Cool Research, still the best game in town anymore...

The SBS headstamp is manufactured at the Santa Barbara Systems in Spain to NATO M80 ball spec.. Owned by General Dynamics now. Used for state side training, I have tracked down headstamps of '06, '07 & '08 across the internet so far.

I believe (plus many across the internet) that the PMJ stands for the Poongsan Metal Company (PMC) of Korea. I don't know for sure yet what the J stands for. It might designate the specific manufacturing ammunition plant or production line or a special contract only. PMC has a contract to produce the ammunition for the U.S. Military, because Lake City ammunition plant couldn't keep up with the war effort .
