Great instructional video and review. If anyone is curious about the Chargemaster, or has just purchased one, this video would be a great place to start.

I own a Chargemaster Combo, and I love it. I used it to reload around 600 45acp rounds for my dad's birthday present. Not exactly the fastest way, but I had a Lee powder drop that I had no faith in.

Just a few tricks that I use:

You don't have to switch it to manual to stop the auto dispense, I just hit the Cancel/Stop before replacing the powder pan and it quits.

And to clean the dispensing tube. After clearing the hopper, I enter "5" - "0" - "Disp" and the unit attempts to dispense a 50gr charge. It just spins on high speed, quickly clearing the dispensing tube.

I had some overthrows with extruded powders, but the McDonalds straw trick works really well to fix that.

Delta,

Thanks for the tips, as I totally forgot you could just press cancel! lol - I haven't tried the McDonalds starw yet, but so far I haven't had any problems with the unit over throwing the powder weight. Now I did try to enter a load in for my Garand and hit the dispense button to empty the dispensing tube out, however some powder still remained in the ridges inside the tube, so I just pushed it out with the brush. I love this thing and I am glad I have one. Keep checking back as I still have the Sidwinder Tumbler, the Turret Press, Case Prep Cener, Trim-Pro Auto Unit and several smaller tools to review from RBCS. Another member requested info on the case prep center in this thread, so I think I will be reviewing that tonight!

Looking forward to more reviews, I'm interested in the prep center and trim-pro for sure.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks for posting the review. I have one and it's a time saver.

Between the videos that tonyben and you post, we should be all set.

I just bought one a couple of weeks ago and it is greatest thing since sliced bread. Makes reloading go faster and I can concentrate on other steps of the process. Like you I dont reload mass amounts at a time but have found that it has made the process much faster. Good job on your review!
