62gr fmj load data needed

I have a colt 24" 1/9 twist and am looking for some load data on 62gr fmj bullets. Been loading with 5ogr, 55gr loads and want to move up. Does anyone have the same twist barrel . thanks

I use 25 grains of Varget for a 69 grain SMK with lake city brass.

This should work great for the 62 grain bullet too.

Are they the long military bullets or are they lead core commercial bullets? Winchester used to list 25.5 grains of W-748 for 62 grain bullets. This load is a bit mild with commercial bullets and near max with military bullets.

Both Accurate Powder and Ramshot have load data for commercial and military 62 grain bullets for bolt action and AR15 rifles.

I've found that stiff loads of Varget work quite well with these bullets. Also, for what it's worth, I also found that when you load pulled M855s, it "seems" to help to take a Lee Factory Crimp die and put a VERY slight crimp on the rounds. I don't know if it straightens out the round or not but I did see a slightly noticeable improvement in accuracy (relative term for M855 loads).
