I've been using Winchester for over 20 years. I did use some Wolf primmers a while back when primmers were hard to find. They worked well, but I'll use Whinchester over any others.

I can attest to good luck with Wolf primers, too. I've never had one issue with them.

Primer seating is the really big part. But if you're going to lose sleep about "slam fires," go with the CCI 34s. As always, work your loads up from low powder charges first.

In terms of accuracy, I would think it's just like the big picture with reloading in general: Sometimes you have to work up batch after batch of test loads before you finally find that combination of components that shoots the acceptable group size in any given rifle.

Relative newbie to the M1a. I’ve loaded about 600 rounds since last summer. For caution, I'm using CCI#34's. Full length resized, trimmed, and pockets uniformed with primers seated .005 below flush. Charge weights below max with consideration given to LC brass and the 34 primer. No indications or pressure problems and no slamfires.

I just use CCI #200 primers and I have had no problems at all. I think if any of the major brands of primers had issues with slam fires, they wouldn't be in business. I'm a simple reloader right now, just loading a few loads PER THE MANUAL to find the best group. I don't have a chronograph or many of the fancy gauges some seasoned reloaders have. This will come in time. For now, CCI #200s work well for me. Cheap too!
