Help ID mags, please.

I finally picked up my 52xxx SAI Glen Nelson build, beautiful. Long trip, worth it. but didn't bring any magazines along, so I stop in WI greatest hrdwr/sporting shop ask if they've got any M1a mags. Says I'll check, comes up from basement with 2 unopened pouches. Here are the markings, Greek to me.
1005-628-9048-B053 Mag Assy For Rifles 7.62MM M14 2/71 DAAG-111-42 OMINC-A8. Backside; MIL-B-131E Class 1 and 2 RAP Industries Inc. FR 2160 July 1970. Sealed whitish pouches, I haven't even opened them. Can anyone ID these? Any chance USGI?
I'd post pics if anyone is interested but am at "camp", no camera. Thanks, CTK

Its there time to be opened and used. They could be USGI mags that were sealed for long term storeage. Open them up and see if they are marked on the back of the mags. There are about 10 different makes of USGI mags so it will be luck of the draw. There were fake unopened mags a few years ago. The fakes were marked with a W about half way up the back of the mag. If the W is about 1/2 inch from the bottom it is a real USGI mag.

Good luck, its like getting a scratch off lotto ticket.

These are fake "GI" magazines, no photo needed.

Yep, opened up, no welds, no markings, returns accepted, fortunately. Thanks Gents.
