Argintina Surplus Ammo? Word on the street?

What's the word on the Argentina ammo or whatever is head stamped arg-79? I guess then stands for Argentina 1979, right? Is this surplus ammo dirty, high pressure, misfires, accurate, etc? I gotta chance to buy a private sale 1K of it. Thanks! -Ezekiel

my bad horsey loves it - ran well in a buddy's FNAR as well, no dirtier than any other surplus I've fired and groups reasonably well at 100 yards - never wrung it out farther than that. I wouldn't pay more than .35 per round...

cute picture of a rocket on the box....my son likes that....

Thanks from tenn m1

Where's this available?

The sticky says it's "on the menu," but it's not actually listed...

BTW, the best deal on Serbian PPU is from AmmoMan, $479/1,000, shipped.

Well, I have both and they say.... I don't think you received any Santa Barbra yet.

Argentine, '83, [ FLB ], Berdan, three star crimp with green primer sealant.
or
Spain, '80, [ SB ], Berdan, three star crimp with green primer sealant. (Santa Barbra)

Opened the can;

I opend the can and found a packing label, in Spanish. "( Empresa Nacional Santa Barbara de Industrias Militares, S.A. )" ( FABRICA DE PALENCIA ). Headstamp 7.62X51, SB 81. Very clean and well packaged. Looks good. Probably shoots better than I do.
